Lonesome kitty Cat Hotel, Toronto West offers a comprehensive service caring for your precious feline. While you are away whether on a business trip or a vacation have your best friend stay in a luxurious Cat Hotel conveniently located in Toronto West.

Your cat will be kept safe at all times. Each family of cats alternates their time in the recreation space with others. They will never share their food, water or litterbox with other cats. There is also no chance of fighting or intimidation.

Lonesome Kitty an exclusive cat hotel, Toronto west, more specifically is situated in the High Park/The Junction district. Close to the Go station & Dundas West Subway on the Bloor street line. Cats are kept separate on the 3rd floor, 30 feet up from the dogs. They are provided with ample filtered water from our reverse osmosis water system on site. In addition there is a high-tech air purifying system that re-circulates free air and removes bacteria and dust through the main ventilation system
Know where your cat is 24 hour care for your pet as opposed to leaving them at home alone with only one or two visits per day. There are no lonesome kitties here. (*24 hour care is providing care for the pets this does not apply to pet owners arriving or departing with their pets. Arrivals and departures are only by appointment within specified business hours)

At this time we are only offering “contactless” arrival and departure. We are not offering tours or allowing pet owners inside the premise.
All fees must All be paid in full in advance prior to cats arriving.
All cat owners must provide sufficient food for each pet upon arrival.
All pet owners are responsible for any veterinarian fees if necessary.
It is mandatory that all cats be vaccinated for both Rabies and FVRCP. If your cat is extremely old or has a specific reason it can not be vaccinated – we may be able to accommodate with a private room.
Every cat regardless of whether they are indoor cat or not must be on a flea control treatment prior to boarding – we recommend Advantage or Revolution – your veterinarian can sell you one treatment.

A non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve a place at busy holiday times. All fees subject to HST.

Arrival and departure of all pets are always arranged by appointment only. the hours for arrival and departure are within the time of 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10am to 3:30 pm Sunday. However, this is arranged by agreement and only by appointment. It is not possible for pet owners to just stop in anytime to pick up pets and if you have an appointment and are running late we may not be able to accommodate a later time for pick up. In this case the pet owner must reschedule the departure of their pet and will be responsible for additional boarding fees.
Arrivals or departures after specified hours (if possible) will be charged $25.00 per half hour or less. It is important if you are driving back and anticipate that there is a possibility you may be delayed, that you schedule the pick up of your pet for the following day. If you add an additional day of boarding the daily rate will be charged.

Long term boarding is available, for several months and prices are quoted individually.

Rates:

Per calendar day — no partial days:

4 days or less, the holiday rate applies. There is a minimum of 4 days charge always. If a pet is staying only one day the charges will be for 4 days.

Discounts after 21 days only applies to 1 cat families.

1 cat and one dog staying at the same time will qualify for the 10% discount. Administration of medications is not discounted.

1 Cat per family- Single Condo : Regular Rate: $24.00 Holiday-high season – Rate: $28.00 -your cats will remain in their condo when other cats are out in recreation space and when your cats are in recreation space other households of cats will be in their condos.
Single condo is approx. 3 feet long X 28 inches high X 24inches wide -smallest size. There are various loft areas in condos for cats to jump up – two levels)
1 Cat per family – Double Condo : Regular Rate $30.00 Holiday -high season-Rate: $34.00 –your cats will remain in their condo when other cats are out in recreation space and when your cats are in recreation space other households of cats will be in their condos.
Double condo is two single condos joined together – 6 feet long. There are various loft areas in condos for cats to jump up – two levels)
2 Cats per family: Double Condo- Regular Rate: $34.00 Holiday Rate: $38.00 – your cats will remain in their condo when other cats are out in recreation space and when your cats are in recreation space other households of cats will be in their condos.
3 Cats per family: Condo’s – Regular Rate: $42.00 Holiday Rate: $46.00
Private Room Based on up to 2 cats Regular Rate: $52.00 each additional cat is plus $5.00. Holiday Rate: $80.00
Private room – no other cat from other households in the room -your cat(s) will roam free all the time.

***Payment is due always in advance. All fees subject to HST.***

Medication:A charge of $1.50 per application. For example, a diabetic cat requiring two insulin shots per day will be billed the regular boarding fee plus $3.00 per day for the two shots.

Subcutaneous Fluids: $5.00 per administer

Special Needs Cats: Fees for cats, such as the elderly, that require additional care will be discussed on an individual basis.

** DUE TO COVID 19 ** WE ARE NOT GIVING TOURS AND WE ARE ONLY OFFERING “CONTACTLESS” ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.

Prices are calculated per Calendar day. There are no partial days. Pricing starts on the day the guest arrives and ends on the day they depart. Cats and dogs from the same family can visit during their stay. One cat and one dog boarding at this Toronto West location at the same time form the same family will be discounted 10% from the regular rate. There is a 10% discount to the boarding fee for one cat, extended stays longer than 21 days. Fee for administering medication is not discounted. Multiple cat boarding rate is already heavily discounted, therefore there is no additional discounts for multiple cats.

Private room: Spacious room can accommodate as many as 10 cats per room. Based on 4 cats per day, a nominal fee will be charged for more than 4 cats, calculated based on the number of cats and the length of stay. Approximately $5.00 per day for each additional cat boarded.

This is a cat’s paradise for sure. So clean and organized. I am amazed at how content my cats are. I used to leave my cats at home with a cat visit. Not a good experience. When I arrived home my cats had urinated all over my couch and even on the bed. I think they were anxious from being left alone 23 hours a day and a stranger coming in when we were not home. Bringing them to Lonesome Kitty is much better. I was suspect whether the cat sitter actually even came once a day. They have 24 hour care. I don’t have to worry whether the cat sitter has actually showed up to my home, if the hydro is on or if there would be a burglary. My cats are safe and sound and very happy at Lonesome Kitty, where they are truly not lonesome. I totally recommend anyone to bring their cats to this Hotel. It has been such a relief for our family to know they are so well cared for. Also they do a fantastic groom for cats.

We dropped off our cat not knowing that he had the beginning of a urinary tract infection. Michelle noticed that he had blood in his urine and was able to get our dear Bentley to the vet and prevent the infection from getting worse. Not only did it minimize the vet bills but most of all prevented Bentley from needless suffering. By the time we arrived back from our trip Bentley was well on his road to recovery. The best decision we ever made was bringing Bentley to Lonesome Kitty.

I bring my dog and my cat for boarding and grooming. This is the best I have ever found. The grooming is perfect and both my kitty Luke and my dog Jasmine are happy in the dog and cat hotel. The great thing is, even though the cat hotel is separate from the dogs, they get to visit with one another during their stay. The dogs and cats are in good hands here. I recommend this place to anyone.

This is truly a paradise for cats. They are all so content and it is so clean. Amazing for this place to have been in business for 18 years and be so clean, no odour form the cats. I like that they are monitoring them so well and one time I had to bring one of my cats medication, it was administered without any problem and I was very pleased with the low price I was charged for this. My cat Benny, is a diabetic, it is important for me to know he is getting his insulin and that I know where he is. I would never leave him Home Alone. I love my furry friend and his wellbeing is very important to me. Lonesome kitty has cared for him for 9 years. It is his home away from home.
